Don Tellock is an Assistant Attorney General in the Internet Bureau of the Office of the New York State Attorney General, Eliot Spitzer.
Tellock's responsibilities include policy-making, management, and enforcing a range of state and federal laws as they apply to Internet transactions, to protect New York's online consumers, businesses, and children.
He is a recognized expert in the areas of internet regulation, privacy litigation, data protection and computer security. Prior to joining the Office of the Attorney General, Tellock was engaged in private practice at the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP handling complex commercial, securities, technology and new media litigation. He is a former judicial clerk for the United States Court of Appeals, Fifth Judicial Circuit. He received his J.D. from the Yale Law School, where he served as editor of the Yale Law & Policy review.
He received a bachelor's degree from Xavier University of Louisiana, where he graduated magna cum laude.
